The Dinosaurs Are Alive

Well, on our terrace anyway! The two sisters made them together, out of a kit Second Daughter received as a present from her Dad.

I like the touch of colour they add in the winter, when the plants look sad and the flowers are missing. And do you see how these three creatures play hide and seek amongst the ivy and the miniature pumpkins?

Green, orange and brown… A welcome addition to all that white.

Love them, playing hide and seek!

We have a set of warthogs in the garden. Each autumn I re-spray them a different funky colour so that they stand out against the winter garden. This year they are silver grey – I must post a pic of them 🙂

What a great idea to re-spray them every autumn! You must indeed post a photo of them. 🙂 Glad you like the dinos. xx

… this is one of the things I really love about you: your attention to the smallest detail and a feel for the pretty, little things in life! 🙂

Love this. And so would Bibsey who is in the throes of her Dino Phase. It was very nearly the topic of my post today… but then is snowed last night. And we all know that snow trumps dinosaurs, well on the first morning at least.

Yes, snow has this power, but I would still love to hear about the dinos! 😉 My girls had fun making ours, and they do look cool on the terrace.

These are brilliant, I love the cheeky T-Rex in the corner. The colours are beautiful, I bet these bring you an enormous amount of pleasure. I can’t wait for the time when my girls are old enough to make things that last 🙂

Quite fond of our colourful little animal display, I must say! 😉 Both my daughters are creative, and I love to see what they come up with. 🙂 xx
