I have already written about the steps my friend and I came up with in our tender years to perform on “Livin’ On A Prayer” in my post “A Life Filled With Music And Dance“. If you have read my “About” page, you also know that Bon Jovi is mentioned there too. As for my Twitter followers, they are already aware of how immensely I am looking forward to seeing them live for the first time here in Germany in July. I even got Sexy Hubby to buy our Golden Circle tickets the day the sale started, as I happened to be travelling and was concerned we would not get any if we waited until my return two days later!

I had not however realised the extent of my infatuation until the band appeared in my dreams very recently not once, but twice! And yes, you guessed it, I am going to tell you all about it…

In my first dream the concert was happening in a very small venue and the stage was a kind of massive table in the middle of the room. Do not ask, no idea where this came from. I was of course near the stage talking to a friend and telling her about the famous – or should I say infamous? – dance routine when Jon, who had been simply walking through the crowd to get on stage, heard me recounting the story. He stopped, smiled at me and asked if I wanted to get on stage with them to perform said routine! Of course, in the dream I readily agreed and climbed on the table with my favourite musicians. They started with “Livin’ On A Prayer” so that I could launch straight into it and despite narrowly escaping death or at least severe injuries by falling off the stage – I did say it was just a big table! – I very graciously performed. I will never know what happened afterwards though, as this was the moment when I woke up.

The second dream was not nearly as nice… Sexy Hubby and I, together with friends, arrived this time in the proper place where the show will take place in the summer. We waited a long time, then were told that having Golden Circle tickets we had to go into the big building that was pointed out to us. Odd for an open air concert but off we went. Once inside we realised that we would only see the band on a big screen, not live. The least you can say is that I was NOT pleased with this so I made my way out and promptly bumped into Jon. I explained the situation to him and also asked if I could have a few minutes at some point for a mini-interview that would then appear on my blog – yes, even in my dreams I am a blogger! But this time he was just plain rude and horrible to me, and then the dream ended. I am sure you can figure out which one is my favourite…

So, dear Bon Jovi members, if you happen to be reading this, I would indeed love to write more about you guys on my blog. Feel free to get in touch to set up that mini-interview in July!
