Not long ago, Sexy Hubby and I were invited to celebrate a friend‘s birthday by having dinner in a restaurant we did not know.
The moment we stepped in, I loved the place. Full of character but unpretentious, with welcoming and friendly staff, a menu with an inventive twist and fabulous wines on offer.
The risotto with fennel, olives and king prawns Sexy Hubby and I chose was to die for. But what I liked the most was this:
Everything was just right: the retro metal box filled with sea salt, heavenly slices of bread presented in a cute paper bag, the wine recommended that night written on a standing slate and – missing on the photo! – a small white dish with a top quality olive oil to dip said bread pieces in it.
Definitely my kind of place.
