Red Carpet Dresses

The Cannes Film Festival opens tomorrow, and a few years ago I was supposed to spend a couple of days at this glamorous event. Why I decided not to go in the end is unimportant but I remember one thing: What to wear certainly was on my mind! I would definitely have needed more day and evening dresses, without an extravagant budget at my disposal.

Climbing the famous stairs was not on the horizon but red carpet dresses would have been required all the same. I had a browse on the New Look website and was pleasantly surprised. The evening and party dresses section offers a large selection with lots of different styles at very reasonable prices.

My choices would have been:

This pretty silver sequin dress

A little black dress with a twist

And of course a couple of leopard print options…

All I need now is another invitation to the Festival!

Really pretty dresses ! I’m sure you which one I prefer ! πŸ˜‰

I like to judge stars dresses each Oscar ceremony. Yes, it isn’t nice to judge but they have only that to do : choose a dress for one night ! πŸ˜€

I love the black and white one! Have never been to anything as glamorous as that, but I did once go to a film opening. I was most disappointed as the (mostly d list) celebs who turned up didn’t actually stay to watch the film!! πŸ˜€

How disappointing indeed!! It was the right decision not to go to Cannes at the time but I did go to other glamorous events. Well, perhaps I will make it to Cannes for the premiere of the film based on my book!! πŸ˜‰ xx
