Last year, I was approached by Bags of Love to write a review about their personalised canvases. I was very happy with the product delivered to me and therefore, when Photo Canvas contacted me, I did not hesitate to agree to another review.
The product review info email I received from Rebecca was very friendly and clear, with an invitation to look at their triptych, pop art and montage offerings. I had wanted to get something new to decorate my bathroom, without anything really catching my eye, for a while, and I liked the idea of a triptych canvas. After selecting a photo taken in Park Güell during our Barcelona trip last year, I settled on the three 30 x 30 cm squares version.
I checked my order on the website and placed it, without paying too much attention to the little warning sign, I must admit. I very quickly received a “low quality alert” email, telling me that my canvas would not be pin sharp, and did I want to make changes to my order? One of the suggestions to improve it was to select another image and make a montage, which is what I did as I had two detail photos of the mosaic benches. This time, no warning sign, I sent off my new order and replied to the email I had received. I got one in return the same day thanking me and saying that my order was now in progress. This was on Friday August 3rd. On Monday, Rebecca contacted me to say the package was on its way, and on Tuesday it arrived. Pretty fast, especially considering that it was sent from the UK to Germany.
The first thing I noticed was how carefully wrapped it was. No chance of damage. Then when I opened it, I was delighted to discover how well my choice had turned out. One of the panels – the one on the left on the photo – is slightly less sharp than the other two, but this is due to my picture, not the work of Photo Canvas. It is however hardly noticeable, and the triptych looks fabulous in my bathroom.
Do you think so too?
Disclosure: I received the triptych canvas for free in return for writing this review.
