My Awesome Photo – The Four Seasons

Tara’s theme this week is a bit special, since all participants to The Gallery are offered the chance to win a canvas of their awesome photo. This is one of those times when I wish that I had not gone for the policy of not showing faces, especially my children’s, on my blog. Because I know exactly which photo I would have chosen. The one I took of my two girls at their sister’s wedding two years ago. Just their faces, close together, with their hair prettily made up, their skin creamy and their beautiful almond shaped eyes standing out. Just stunning.

But since I did make that decision, I went for four pictures representing the different seasons instead. I love all four, and I think that any of them would come out well on a canvas. Especially the summer one: the model was my lovely sister-in-law, on her wedding day last year. It would make a great, personalised present.

Do you think so too?

Thank you! 🙂 Took it while out running, thought the storm would hit before I was done, but I was lucky and did not go home drenched.

Snap! I was gutted I couldn’t put up a picture of the kids because obviously that would be the best thing on our wall if we won. But I think the wedding gift picture would be such a lovely idea – hope you win it, I bet you’d be the only one giving it away!

Thanks, not sure if I would be the only one giving it away, but I have a gut feeling that my sister-in-law would love it! 🙂

I’ve looked and looked and I can’t choose a favourite. I can imagine th poppies on a wall and the bride’s flowers, nice contrast between the held flowers and the scattered petals.

Thanks, Laura! 🙂 My sister-in-law looked beautiful in that dress, the perfect colour for her and the shawl was a great match for it. I will pass on the compliments!
