I have not been to the wonderful city of London in far too long… I am therefore thrilled to be flying there tomorrow and not return until Sunday.

I will meet my lovely friend from Dorset in town close to lunchtime. We then have a few loose plans such as visiting the David Bowie Is exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum or pop into the Choccywoccydoodah shop. But mainly we are just happy to catch up as we have not seen each other since my trip with Second Daughter in October 2012.

We will share breakfast on Saturday morning and then she will – sadly – leave, while I will be attending the CybHer conference for the first time. As I said in my Time To Remove The Sunglasses post, I do want to develop this blog further. I am therefore looking forward to learning more and making new contacts.

I am also delighted to announce that Casa in Italia, a company renting fabulous holiday properties in Italy, has agreed to sponsor my ticket. A big thank you! 🙂

Full report on the whole trip next week!

  1. I will go back to London, but with children next time. A very nice city ! I liked it a lot.

    1. Thank you, already having a fab time in London with my friend! Thrilled about the sponsorship. 🙂
Really disappointed too that we will not meet, we will have to find another occasion… xx

  2. I’ll be at the David Bowie tomorrow – tickets are a bit hard to come by now though I think. Good luck.

Have fun, weather is going to be nice. xx

    1. Got tickets… for the Friday!! Such a shame you did not say when you were going to be there, we could have met!
Thought the exhibition was fabulous, what is your opinion?
Was good to be back in London and really enjoyed my trip and the conference. xx

      1. I was a bit disappointed with it but I think a lot of that was to do with how rammed it was. I liked the big room, very funny taking my earphones off and listening to people singing along off key with no other sound! I was on the 13:30 ticket.

        1. It was very busy indeed but I did my best to ignore that fact and concentrate on the exhibit. I did not try the taking the earphones off trick!! And we were there at the same time… I was on the 12:45 ticket!

  3. Shame we picked different conferences :-(. Hope you had a good time, looking forward to hearing more about it x
