Back in June, Sexy Hubby and I went to see Bon Jovi in Cologne on their Because We Can Tour. The concert was on Saturday night and since we love this vibrant town, we decided to make a weekend out of it. We arrived on Friday afternoon already and had dinner at the Hard Rock Café that first night. Guess what, they played some Bon Jovi music… 😉

On the Saturday and Sunday we had plenty of time to wander around and we came across that strange boutique selling all kind of statues and home decoration items. Outside guarding the shop was… King Kong:

Of course I could not miss the opportunity for a silly photo and put Sexy Hubby in charge of the camera while I did my best scared impression.

What do you think?

  1. Not sure what I’m more excited about Bon Jovi or King Kong! How awesome to have seen them in concert, will be having a read of that post later! That is one mahoosive statue, rather impressive I must say. Great photo, love it! Thank you so much for sharing with #whatsthestory

    1. Well, I know which one I was more excited about… 😉 It was such a great concert.
As for the statue, I do not know who would buy such a thing, but it was fun to pose in front of it! xx

    1. Me too! 🙂
The boots are actually more red, but it does not look like it on the photo… 😉 xx

  2. King Kong looks pretty imposing, he seems huge! I would have had my photo taken with him too! I love your boots, they are gorgeous. I would love to see Bon Jovi, I bet you had a fantastic time 🙂
