My Flashback today is very recent as I am going to tell you about our two weeks holiday in the South of France. We only came back last Saturday – or very early Sunday morning, to be precise – but it still qualifies as a Flashback, right? So… what did we do during our vacation?

  • We embraced the aperitif tradition with enthusiasm
  • We drew funny faces, made sand angels and had Sexy Hubby star in “The Mummy Returns”
  • I bought myself a new hat
  • Sexy Hubby and Second Daughter took kite flying seriously
  • We ate in lovely restaurants
  • We came across beautiful and quirky sights
  • We loved the funky cleaning brigade
  • Sexy Hubby enjoyed playing the guitar facing the sea immensely
  • And Edwardina Scissorhands visited us!

A fabulous time was had by all, and we are very much looking forward to our next stay in this fantastic corner of the earth.

Should you want to see more photos, I published one every day while we were there. The posts are “Day One” to “Day Fourteen“.

    1. Thanks for your enthusiasm! 🙂 Bought the hat on a market, love it too, bet it would have come in handy in Tenerife! As for my face, it is OK with the sunglasses… 😉 xx

  2. Any time before today is a flashback!! Oooh check out those nails – yikes!! Looks like your holiday was a good one and I expect you got some sunshine – glad someone did 🙂 you look good in that hat btw x

    1. It was a wonderful holiday! As for the weather, we had one storm one afternoon and two overcast days out of two weeks, cannot complain really! Thanks for the hat compliment, and yes, the “shell-nails” looked really weird on Second Daughter’s hands!! xx

    1. I know! Second Daughter did not keep them on for long, as you can imagine there were a bit of an impediment… 😉 Thanks for stopping by. xx
