Last Saturday was our second Christmas market weekend. Even though the weather was not too great, we had fun and enjoyed more mulled wine and tasty food. We also did a bit of Christmas shopping and had our traditional photo taken with Santa (to the delight of First Daughter, but then the proceeds go to an organisation looking after children in need, so that made it OK).

On our way back to the car, we came across this bench:

Is it not absolutely lovely? “Forrest Gump” is a movie I still enjoy today, and I just had to take a photo of that display. It also prompted us to look inside the chocolaterie and we came out with flavoured chocolate squares attached to wooden spoons. Melted in hot milk once at home, they turned into divine hot chocolates and were just perfect with a slice of apple spiced cake.

    1. Indeed! 🙂 I thought it was just lovely, and it did pique your curiosity and made you want to go in, the place was packed!

    1. That is what I thought, and it worked, the place was packed! The chocolate was divine, will certainly go there again. xx
