I need variety. I would find concentrating on one sport only too boring. So I have my own mixture, which changes depending on the seasons:

  • Gym
  • Running
  • Cycling
  • Swimming

 

 

I also enjoy long walks, as well as my morning back stretches. And what you see in the middle of the photo is my incense burner. I love having that smell surrounding me while meditating.

Do you also believe that the link between body and soul is an important part of being fit?

  1. It’s often easy to forget that the two (body and soul) go hand in hand. After a break from exercising I’ve just got back into a combination of running, power walking, zumba, pilates, piloxing and kettle bells (not all at once) and yet again after a few days the penny drops. Suddenly I feel more switched on, more in control and have more of a zest for life.

  2. I like the sound of your back stretches, I should definitely be more religious about mine. I do Pilates once a week but that’s not enough. Do you find it helps?

    1. It does help indeed. I probably should do more, and am thinking about finding new exercises.
