This is the name my daughters gave the meal they prepared for their Dad and I one summer night a few years ago.

They had been wanting to organise a special evening for us for quite a while and we finally set a date. They came up with a menu, First Daughter asked for a few cooking tips but insisted that she could manage on her own. And she was right, the heart shaped pasta and tuna steaks were done to perfection.

We thought the way they set up the aperitif and dinner tables was absolutely gorgeous, and enjoyed our champagne and red wine. Both of them also dressed up and the service was impeccable. This remains a very fond memory and still makes me smile today.

Have your children also done something lovely for you?

More flashbacks here: Cafe Bebe.
